What’s up, friend

With a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies & a master’s degree in International Tourism & Hotel Management, I am passionate about exploring the spaces around us, between us and within us.

I was born & raised in Denver, but I currently live & write from New Orleans. Life has carried me all over the country, & I’ve even been able to live abroad in Australia & Myanmar.

The funny, nail-biting, & tender stories I’ve collected along the way have helped me to connect with others all over the world in such deep & meaningful ways. This is how I know the stories of our lives matter.

But sadly the most impactful stories are often the ones that go unspoken.

Through narrative nonfiction, my hope is to help others who have been impacted by trauma, namely sexual assault, move from a place of disconnection to connection. When we choose to connect to our lives, our people and our stories, we perpetuate healing in ourselves & in others.

I care deeply about my relationships, & in my spare time I dance in a Mardi Gras Dance Krewe, & try my best to belly laugh with a friend at least once a day.

Want to connect? Let's Get In Touch.
